Other Renewable Energy Technologies - Introduction

This part of the website - "Other RE Technologies" - contains information on RE technologies other than those for solar energy, wind energy and waste-to-energy. Solar energy, wind energy and waste-to-energy have potentials for wider application in Hong Kong. The RE technologies under this section are considered to have only limited scope for application in Hong Kong, due to the limited (or even absence of) availability of the relevant RE resources. However, most of them are mature technologies which have been applied in different parts of the world where the resources and local conditions are favorable to their application.

The RE technologies covered in this part of the website include:
